課程概述 |
This course is designed for giving graduate students the fundamental concepts and applications of combustion. Junior and senior undergraduate students who have substantial background of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat/mass transfer are also welcome to attend the lectures. The course materials would cover the typical flame structure, various combustion patterns, chemical kinetics, conservation laws of multiple species, stability and flammability, and combustion in some important conditions such as two phases, laminar and turbulent reacting flows, detonation and supersonic flows. The grading strategy for the students’ performance would rely on the assigned homework problems, projects and oral presentations. |
